What I really love about Winmark is their complete dedication to Chardonnay — it’s all they make — and you can see that focus in the wines. Even better, these are the original Poole’s Rock vineyards, so there’s some serious history and pedigree behind the site. A modern, approachable Chardonnay with plenty of character and a great story behind it.
A Chardonnay with plenty of freshness and texture. Citrus, nashi pear and apple lead the way, with cashew and steel-cut oat notes adding a lovely savoury edge through the back palate. The oak is nicely restrained, letting the fruit stay front and centre, while the bright acidity keeps the finish clean and balanced.
