This is the heart of Two Paddocks, bringing together fruit from Sam Neill’s four organic vineyards across Central Otago. And yes, that’s Sam Neill of Jurassic Park fame, although after tasting his wines, it’s pretty clear this is much more than a celebrity side project.
Each vineyard brings something different to the blend, giving you a great snapshot of Central Otago Pinot Noir. It’s bright, fresh and savoury, with beautiful red fruit, spice and that earthy complexity that makes good Pinot so interesting.
Made with plenty of hands-on winemaking, wild fermentation and time in French oak, there’s a lovely balance between fruit, freshness and savoury character.
