Originally brewed in 2012 to celebrate the opening of the first St. Bernardus-themed café in Tokyo, the beer returned in 2020 with a new recipe. It’s an unfiltered golden ale brewed with a large amount of wheat, sitting somewhere between a traditional witbier and a saison.
Bright citrus combines with floral chamomile and fruity yeast notes of banana and red apple, with hints of clove and vanilla from the distinctive St. Bernardus yeast. Refreshing and spicy, with lively carbonation and a light bitterness and acidity through the finish.
