Sons of Eden continues to impress me with the quality of wines they're producing, and the Marschall Shiraz is always a standout for the money.
This is a fantastic modern take on classic Barossa Shiraz, delivering all that lovely richness and depth without being overly heavy. Beautiful aromas of ripe blueberry, dark berries and red liquorice lead into a generous, juicy palate with plenty of concentrated fruit, subtle oak and a touch of spice.
What I really like is the freshness running through the wine, keeping everything vibrant and beautifully balanced.
A cracking Barossa Shiraz that drinks brilliantly now but has the structure to develop nicely over the next few years. Seriously good value for the quality in the bottle.
