RUSTENBERG STELLENBOSCH CHARDONNAY

Another Chardonnay I really enjoyed when I tasted through the Rustenberg range with owner and winemaker Murray Barlow. There’s lovely ripe apricot and citrus fruit, with orange peel, subtle marzipan and a touch of well-judged oak. The barrel fermentation gives it plenty of texture and richness, but there’s still excellent freshness and acidity running through the wine.
