Another Chardonnay I really enjoyed when I tasted through the Rustenberg range with owner and winemaker Murray Barlow. There’s lovely ripe apricot and citrus fruit, with orange peel, subtle marzipan and a touch of well-judged oak. The barrel fermentation gives it plenty of texture and richness, but there’s still excellent freshness and acidity running through the wine. Really well balanced, with great fruit, structure and length — a seriously good Stellenbosch Chardonnay.
