ROSS HILL PINNACLE PINOT NOIR

Ross Hill Pinnacle Pinot Noir from their Wallace Lane Vineyard in Orange is a beautifully expressive cool-climate Pinot that combines lovely bright fruit with plenty of character and finesse. Aromas of wild strawberries, maraschino cherries and a touch of cinnamon spice lead into a wonderfully textured palate, with juicy raspberry, subtle vanilla and beautifully integrated French oak.

What I really like about this wine is the balance between its generous fruit and savoury complexity. There’s some lovely structure here, but it never loses that elegance and freshness that makes good Pinot Noir so enjoyable. Refined, silky and full of personality, this is another terrific example of just how well Pinot Noir performs in Orange.
