Riposte The Dagger Pinot Noir is a fantastic example of just how much character and complexity you can find in a Pinot. Crafted by the Knappstein family, this is a wonderfully expressive wine with aromas of ripe cherries, boysenberries and a lovely mix of exotic spices. The palate is juicy and generous, with rich berry flavours, subtle oak and a savoury edge that keeps things interesting.
What I really like about this wine is how it delivers plenty of flavour without losing that freshness and elegance you want from a good Pinot Noir. The bright acidity makes it incredibly moreish, and it's the sort of wine that disappears from the glass far too quickly.
