What I really like is the combination of generous fruit and that slightly earthy, savoury character that makes Pinotage such an interesting alternative to your usual Shiraz or Cabernet. Nine months of oak ageing adds a lovely touch of richness and complexity without overpowering the fruit.
Smooth, balanced and incredibly easy to drink, this is a fantastic everyday red that offers something a little different. Perfect with barbecued meats, grilled sausages or a good steak.
