Rich, juicy dark berries lead the way, backed by layers of spice, earthy notes, leather and a touch of tar. There’s plenty of depth and concentration, with beautifully integrated oak and firm, velvety tannins that give it a long, satisfying finish. What I really like is that despite its richness and 14.5% alcohol, it still has elegance and balance.
A cracking Shiraz to enjoy now with a good steak, or tuck away in the cellar for years to come.
