This is a mezcal with real complexity and balance. There’s plenty going on, but nothing feels overpowering.
Up front I get ripe pineapple and fresh citrus, followed by softer tropical fruit and a gentle herbaceous character. As it opens up, there’s a lovely baked smokiness that adds depth without dominating the spirit.
What I really like is how subtle the smoke is. Rather than that big, aggressive smoky character you can sometimes get with mezcal, this is smooth, refined and beautifully balanced, with the fruit, citrus and smoke all working together.
A seriously approachable mezcal, but with enough complexity to keep you coming back to it.
