Browar Pinta has been brewing Grodziskie for 15 years. To mark this anniversary, we were invited to brew our interpretation of this historic smoked beer from the Poznań region. Grodziskie was already being enjoyed there in the Middle Ages. The beer style disappeared in the 20th century before Pinta revived it in 2010.
For Schlenkerla Grodziskie, we use smoked wheat malt, dried over an open oak fire in our own malt house, and particularly aromatic hops from Lubelski.
