Made using the traditional Italian appassimento method, where grapes are partially dried to concentrate flavour, this is a beautifully layered wine packed with dark plum, ripe cherry, chocolate, mocha and hints of cedar and tobacco. Full-bodied and velvety, with beautifully integrated tannins, lovely balance and a long, lingering finish.
A cracking Cabernet that’s drinking beautifully now but has plenty of years ahead of it. A real standout not just from Mitolo but the McLaren Vale region.
