This is a seriously characterful Waiheke red. I love the savoury edge here — black olive, cracked pepper, dark plum and cherry with that smoky, mineral character running through it. The palate is firm and focused, with fine tannins and bright coastal freshness keeping everything tight and balanced. Less about richness and more about precision, detail and personality. A really distinctive wine with a long, savoury finish.
