A wonderful Tasmanian Shiraz with loads of personality. Dark cherry, black liquorice and spice sit alongside savoury notes of prosciutto, fennel, black olive and a touch of white pepper. What I really love about this wine is its structure and length — the tannins are supple but give the wine plenty of shape, while the fruit and savoury characters just keep carrying through the palate. Full-bodied without feeling heavy, and a really distinctive cool-climate Shiraz with plenty of character.
