A beautifully made Adelaide Hills Chardonnay with plenty of richness, but still that cool-climate freshness and drive you want from the region. Peach, citrus and brioche lead into a creamy, rounded palate with excellent length and balance. What really stands out is the texture. Weekly bâtonnage, combined with full malolactic fermentation, gives the wine a lovely creamy mouthfeel and extra depth without making it feel heavy. The 30% new oak is well judged, adding complexity and polish while letting the fruit stay front and centre. A classy Adelaide Hills Chardonnay with both power and finesse.
