A beautifully detailed Eden Valley Chardonnay that really shows the attention Château Tanunda puts into the wine from the very beginning. The fruit is hand-picked from select rows, then carefully basket pressed before barrel fermentation — and you can taste that precision in the finished wine.
White peach, ripe pear and citrus lead into a creamy, layered palate with brioche, vanilla and subtle toasty oak. Regular lees stirring adds lovely texture, while the cool-climate acidity and mineral edge keep everything fresh and balanced. The oak is beautifully judged and never dominates.
A classy, refined Chardonnay with plenty of depth now, but also the structure to develop even more complexity over the next few years.
