BORGO CIPRESSI SANGIOVESE

A terrific value Tuscan Sangiovese that delivers far more than you’d expect for the money. Ripe cherry and red berry fruit lead the way, with subtle vanilla, tobacco and a gentle savoury edge adding extra character. The palate is smooth, soft and velvety, with enough warmth and structure to give it substance without becoming heavy. It’s balanced, generous and very easy to drink — exactly the sort of wine that makes you wonder how they can produce something this good at the price. A great everyday Italian red and seriously good value.
