A collaboration with Reub Goldberg Brewing Machine for their Dark As - Dark Beer Festival. This one’s a big, malty ale brewed with a twist – we opted for a German lager strain for this beer. Using Moonlight German Lager Yeast (MOG‑203) from Mogwai Labs, a Bavarian heritage strain that promotes maltiness with a mild ester profile, the fermentation stays clean and refined while letting the malt complexity shine.
In the glass you’ll find cocoa, dark chocolate, toffee apple, pear, maraschino cherry, and banana. Full-bodied, balanced bitterness, and a slow, crisp snap that smooths out the ABV and keeps you coming back for another sip.
Brewed with Voyager Craft Malt and hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Spalt Select, Astral Dive is a malt-driven journey with a clean finish.
