Our head brewer, Mike, loves this style, but what do you call it? A hoppy stout, a black IPA, a Cascadian dark ale? We knew whatever we named it, someone would say we're wrong, so we just rolled with it.
Unpopular Opinion is a roasty, bold, and unapologetically hop-forward stout. We used Chinook and Centennial from our friends at @ryefieldhops, plus some Chinook from our recent US haul, bringing layers of pine, grapefruit, resin, and white pepper.Â
