Named WORLD'S BEST TRADITIONAL SPICED RUM at the 2025 World Rum Awards, this is the most popular product from our distillery. It's enjoyed by rum enthusiasts around the world as well as those discovering craft spirits for the first time.

To create a balanced flavour profile of spice and sweetness, we foraged native Australian botanicals and blended them with exotic Caribbean spices. Like a traditional spiced rum, Near Horizon Spiced contains notes of orange and cinnamon, with hints of vanilla playfully hidden for the adventurous to discover. The base spirit is created from sustainable Australian molasses that is fermented and double distilled by our team at our distillery in Tasmania.

Serving suggestions

The Near Horizon Spiced is smooth enough to sip neat or over ice.

It also mixes well with ginger beer or ginger ale and lime, to make a classic 'Dark and Stormy' cocktail.
