For those that enjoy something just a little bit different, the extremely drinkable Weemala range has a very loyal following. They’re all complex with pretty aromas, deep flavours and excellent value for money.
Weemala is both an Aboriginal word for ‘good view’ and the name of their vineyard in the Central Ranges of NSW. As the birds that live there can testify, it does have a bloody good view.
Very pale gold in colour, has strong aromas of kaffir lime and clementine blossom while the long minerally palate has flavours of mandarin, apple and iced tea. A dry and juicy core is balanced by a mineral acidity and a little ‘spritzig’ freshness.
