Project 5255 is a ground-breaking winemaking experiment that offers winemakers two tonnes of fruit from Langhorne Creek to make a small-batch wine.
Plenty of violet aromas preluding the sensation of standing under a ripe Mulberry tree in late summer. The palate brings luscious sweet berry fruit, raspberry and crunchy plum highlights carried by autumnal spice and buckets of texture. Trademark Langhorne Creek tannins that are so fine and dusty, but carry long enough to force you to stop and reconsider this wine as a ‘contemplate’ instead of a ‘guzzle’.
