With a full boil kettle and boxes of 'fresh from the bine' Galaxy hops at the ready this brew day took an unexpected turn. Our kettle heating element decided this was the perfect time to check out and we were left scratching our heads as to what to do with 500L of sweet wort and 20kg of hops with a rather short shelf life. And so our first ever Fresh Hop Raw Ale was born. With the core elements of our West Coast IPA framework intact, a little extra body, a somewhat greener edge and foam to die for we present to you Salad Days!
