After a hiatus in 2024, we’re back with our annually biannual Pines beer. Letting spring sprung into early October, the pine tips were much more developed. We’ve reduced the base beer to 8.5%, using only pale and wheat malts, allowing the pine flavours to really shine. After ferment, fresh, 1 and 2 year old toasted pieces of timber were infused. Combining all we’ve learned about using pine from the last few years, we’ve come closer on a base framework that really promotes the unique flavours of native pine.
