A really enjoyable take on Dolcetto — fresh, vibrant and made for drinking rather than overthinking. There’s plenty of juicy cherry and black plum, with a little bitter almond and spearmint giving it that classic Piedmont-inspired character. The palate is medium-bodied, fleshy and easy going, with fine dusty tannins keeping everything in check.
What I like most is how versatile it is. Give it a slight chill and it becomes dangerously drinkable. Perfect with pizza, pasta, cured meats or a good piece of hard cheese.
