The rich malt complexity of the stout harmonises well with the soft coconut and vanilla of the barrels. Hand toasted and salted peanuts were infused in the final product, along with a habanero tincture. The chilli offsets the savoury nut character, with the salt making all the flavours more precipitous. The spice is retrained to allow the other flavours shared spotlight but builds as it goes.
