Burton Cabernet has been given a rating of 94 points by Dr. Healey. A deep red hued wine featuring purple highlights, both the nose and palate display ripe fruits. Fermentation for 20 months in new as well as old French and American oak barriques integrated complexity into the wine. The minty background is less pronounced and the tannins have softened, now that the wine has matured. The resulting blend is attractive and pleasing with a long and satisfying finale. This Cabernet Sauvignon is best served at 15°C, paired with foods such as beef tenderloin, grilled steak or brisket.
